Acura, Honda's subsidiary, presented Acura SUV-X Concept at the Shanghai Motor Show, a small SUV that initially would be directed to the Chinese market.


Acura shows at the Shanghai Auto Show 2013 Crossover Concept. The SUV-X is the first vehicle to the Honda daughter presented outside of the United States. It is intended mainly for China, according to Honda, but could also be marketed globally in a successful entry into China. According to rumors, the series production of the vehicle to be already firmly planned. About the size of SUV X to drive Honda makes no details.

Unlike in Europe, the MPV segment in China is currently dominated by cars based on commercial vehicles, which aims to strike with Honda car-like design. For this, the new SUV is more comfort and a dash of sportiness offer.


The Acura SUV-X Concept outlines a small SUV that takes care of the details.


The Acura SUV-X Concept has been unveiled at the Shanghai 2013. Conceived broadly, it is a SUV which will aim, at first, the Chinese market. It is the first time Acura, Honda's subsidiary, has a 'premiere' world outside U.S. territory.

The Acura brand seeks to unify X Concept SUV-emotional and intelligent design with driving pleasure and respect for the environment and the quality and taste for the details.

Acura plans to start production and sales in China of a model based on the Acura SUV-X Concept in the next three years.
