LaFerrari to admire, you should not hesitate to elbow

A cavalry minimum 750 hp, a seven-digit price: the Geneva Motor Show 2013 saw tumble down a trio of mechanical monsters. This should not obscure the presence of many other sports, sometimes much more accessible.

Launching a supercar Ferrari? This has not happened for more than ten years.
The arrival of LaFerrari (hereinafter against and video below) is one of the great events of the Geneva Motor Show 2013. With its hybrid V12 963 hp, and its spectacular aerodynamic carbon chassis, the latest creation of the Prancing Horse does not disappoint. But P1 (Fig. 4) McLaren really does not seem to lag: associating a biturbo V8 and an electric motor, it boasts 916 hp and takes a body as demonstrative as his rival. In addition, the Lamborghini Veneno seems almost pale, even if it is more expensive than its rivals: close enough to that of a Aventador, the V12 is "just" 750 hp.

To descend below the million, there are fortunately some solutions. At Porsche, it will "only" pay € 139,042 to acquire the latest 911 GT3 (the cons). Future terror circuits thanks to its atmospheric flat-six 475 hp, the PDK dual-clutch gearbox or rear wheels. More reasonable, the new C7 Corvette Stingray Convertible is expected to start at around € 80,000. A case in its class, as this American convertible with a prestigious name has a 6.2 V8 450 hp, combining tradition and modernity. As the coupe Rolls Royce Wraith, although favors luxury, it also promises a certain dynamism, with its 632 hp V12. Geneva forces, artisans are also out in force, with models with prices, specification and varied lines.

For many, the majority of these innovations, however, remain unaffordable. Fortunately, there was also more accessible sport. Starting with the convertible derived from our Kick trophy heart of 2012: while the Toyota FT-86 Open (Fig. 5) is still a study, but the arrival of a variant of the discoverable GT86 seems more than likely. Rear wheel drive, player behavior, flat-four with 200 hp, all that hair flying and about 35,000 €: the cocktail makes the mouth water. We also glad to see Alfa Romeo reconnect with sportsmanship through 4C (the cons). Although this cut requires nearly 50,000 € for a "modest" four-cylinder 240 hp, it has something to drool with its mid-mounted engine, the carbon chassis and acceleration Audi R8. Finally, if you still have to meet family needs, the Volkswagen Golf GTI remains faithful to the post, now with a strong seventh version of 220 hp or 230 hp opting for the Performance pack.
