Crash Test Renault Captur

Reassuring, the Renault Captur garnered five-star EuroNCAP crash test. But all is not rosy.

Five stars for a Renault freshly smashed against a barrier, it is hardly a surprise. With few exceptions (Twingo, Fluence ZE, Kangoo and Traffic) all models of the brand have won the highest rating in the last ten years. The little fighter Captur continues this tradition, but are placed in absolute benchmark in its class. Indeed, engineers believe that the European body during a side impact against a pole, protection of the chest and abdomen front passenger is more than improved. In addition, the headrests do not adequately protect against whiplash. And, second, at the front crash, the head of the three year old hit the roof. Moreover, with a score of 61%, pedestrian protection is just enough to escape the sanction that could resulted in the loss of a star overall. But, overall, the result EuroNCAP should rather promote Captur, which started commercial career with a bang.
