Super Brakes Brembo for 'Fast and Furious 6'

Not just any car would for a movie like 'Fast and Furious 6'. Thanks to the dual rear brake caliper, the Dodge Charger Daytona made some spectacular stunts.

In 'Fast and Furious 6', Brembo had its role. And it is those crazy car chases need a well prepared. Therefore, Dennis McCarthy, Head of Transportation, asked him to design Brembo braking system for the protagonist, the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona.

The latest installment of 'Fast and Furious 6' has high-speed chases and spectacular performance that only show movies collection millionaire, with a driving skill that requires a braking capacity.

Brembo braking system designed only for cars of 'Fast and Furious 6', consisting of a double circuit custom settings for the rear wheels, with two pairs of four-piston calipers in aluminum alloy. One pair is used for the conventional braking and the other pair is connected to a hydraulic brake for controlling skidding dynamic states of the vehicle, one of the best known of the film.

The discs have a friction surface 72 splines with 350x28 mm width and slotted type III competition, two-piece floating construction, assembly centers and aluminum plate Brembo exclusive equipment for better ventilation. The front brake system requiring cars 'Fast and Furious 6' is composed of lightweight monoblock calipers six-piston aluminum alloy with integrated reinforcement bridge and high-performance shoes large surface area and volume for greater durability and wear resistance.

The front discs are similar to the rear: 72 friction surfaces grooves with 350x34 mm in width and slotted type III competition. This technology programs comes from top level competition and is based on Gran Turismo systems available at authorized dealers.
